Card for the Moment: The Ace of Wands, “Root of the Powers of Fire.” Primordial energy as yet unrealized, seed of the will, the masculine archetype. Imagine your rich uncle took you to the best store in town and told you that you could have anything in the store. The Aces are like that liminal state between the time he tells you that and the time you make your choice – everything is possible and nothing is actual. Once you choose, one thing is actual and nothing else is possible. Our task is to take this energy from the possible to the actual. This card says that you have the capability.

You are soon to receive the gift of energy, will and motivation. You will notice it first in increased levels of physical energy. Perhaps you feel a desire to do something you have been putting off. Perhaps something motivates you now, something you haven’t been interested in doing before. Regardless, newness and beginnings are in the wind. My suggestion is that you meditate on the card itself for an extended period. See if you can feel the spirit fire. Burn candles and incense so the material manifestation of fire is present. You can use tarot cards and pendulums to help further define where your energy is manifesting.
