Love is the most powerful force that we encounter in this life. Love shapes us. Love remains when all else has fallen away. I pray that all sentient beings experience love in their lives. When I think back on my own life, love has been such a powerful force in shaping my decisions. I never really liked John Lennon’s “All You Need is Love.” That isn’t true. It takes love and a lot of hard work. It requires vulnerability which can result in pain. It requires the endurance of a saint.

This card suggests that you are in a loving relationship or you are about to find one. This will be a person to whom you commit yourself completely. The 2 of Cups can be a really powerful partnership that gets things done, or you may be reconciling your conscious with your unconscious. Cups is the suit of emotion and intuition. Your feelings will be really strong, intuitions too. Be careful to not be swept up in a tide of emotion. Stop and think before serious decisions.

We have to figure out a way to infect the world with love. Life just doesn’t need to be as ugly as it has been. People with no love in their hearts have been calling the shots. That has to change.

In qabalah, the two is dynamic and unstable. The 2 is Chokmah, the Supernal Father, the ebullient and chaotic outpouring of the divine creative energy. It must resolve to the 3, Binah, the Supernal Mother who gives shape and form to created things. The instability of the 2 is fertility. It becomes 3. 2 always creates something. We need to birth love.

In practical terms, you will love and experience love in your life. More I cannot say.
