This full moon has been full of energy for me. In the morning, I did my tarot ritual. I came up with The Empress. I posted that on the web and then we went out for lunch at one of our favorite places and it was superb as usual. We had margaritas with our sandwiches. When we left, Marian wanted to go to a plant store to see what they had put out. They had a bunch of young herbs. We grabbed parsley, rosemary, lavender and sweet basil plants – and then I saw this beautiful little dogwood tree at an excellent price and I just fell in love. It wasn’t hard to convince Marian that it would be perfect for the back yard.

I didn’t worry about the herbs, but it was vitally important to me to get the tree in the ground under the full moon. We were both tired from the day but we got the little dogwood planted. It was a push but we got it done. I put a whole fresh egg under the roots of the little tree. This is the old magic, the way it was done a long time ago. Then we poured some whiskies and mellowed out. The wild part of it was that after all we had done during the day, we were still wired with energy, talking and planning the next thing. We put out crystals so they could soak up the moon and I played my singing bowls.

I felt cosmic forces at work here. The full moon gave us energy.
