“I’m very frightened… But I’m more frightened of what’s happening to the environment.” This elderly woman was left in tears after being arrested for the first time. She was amongst more than 400 arrests at the @XRebellionUK protests.

God bless her. I’m am sick of hearing about how elderly people don’t care about the future or climate change. Here’s a newsflash: anyone who actually has a life cares about things in the future that they may not be around to see.

And, God bless her for having the guts to go to the demonstration and get arrested for what she cares about.
